I came in for transmission problems in my 2008 Honda Ridgeline, it was shifting hard with strange noises. Dave went on a drive with me and confirmed that it was something to do with the transmission possible torque converter. I was not happy due to the $$$ associated with that repair. He suggested draining the transmission fluid and welding one of the heat shields back together. I have been driving it for 2 days and haven't had the shifting problems or strange noises coming from the hood.
